Quick question! Do aluminium frames naturally creak every now and again say when you go over a bump? I only ask as i keep hearing a creaking and it seems to be coming more frequently (or at least now ive noticed it its annoying me more!) i cant really pin point it as it only happens irregularly. Any ideas what else could be causing it if its not the frame? (A million and one things i guess)
thanks guys

The shortest stage in this year’s Giro starts with a bit of a climb but then flattens out so could be the last gasp for the sprinters or will a break stay away. Mmm. 13th stage and it’s Friday, could be lucky for someone!

Hi All,
I have heard allot of things over the years about starvation mode. I have, what I have been doing to avoid starvation mode and it works for me. Some of this you probably have heard, these before but these do work. Oatmeal..flavored or unflavored...lowers colesterol and adds fiber to your diet to help keep your bowel movements regular. More fiber for lunch etc. whole wheat bread, Rye, mixed grains, Coconut, Prunes, etc, etc. Metamucil or other fiber drink twice a day and a good diet helps. More water during the day as well. Most people do not know that they carry around allot of extra weight..(fecal matter) stored in their intestines..."Stravation mode" You have to help your body rid itself of this problem. If you are not moving your bowels at least twice a day. Then you are one on the list. Fiber through out the day and more water to help flush it all out and rid your self of starvation mode. Ride Free..Ride well.. Ride in Peace. Gil:cool:

I'm in need of a new Water / Windproof jacket....Fancy the 'Gore Oxygen', it's had some stellar reviews. What are the sizing of Gore garments???.....I remember trying one Gore Jacket on before in size Large, I think???
I normally wear the follwing sizes.......
Assos / Giordana XL

Castelli XXL

Despite being strangely missed out from this weeks 25 greatest bikes feature in the mag - my beloved Carrera Virtuoso has been desecrated!!!!!! Having temporarilly left said magnificent beast leaning securely against our bins for a couple of mins a caller at the house managed to knock it over trashing the rear mech (105 upgrade), the gear hanger, a new Garmin Edge200 and, worse of all, ripped up my Giro supporting Bontrager Serious Pink bar tape that I put on only last week -SACRILEGE! Don't know what it's going to cost to repair all this, but Mrs Nobby wants a new fridge and, we're a bit skint, has anyone ever claimed for anything like this on their house insurance? Finally, big thumbs up to the guys at Hargroves Cycles in Winchester who, at 10 am on Sunday morning temporarilly bodged and bent my gears so I could get a couple of hours in the sun round the lanes - amazing service!

As you can see from the picy he either didnt have the brakes or the distance and this is the result.
Expensive day for him.
He was OK with a cut knee and thinner wallet.
