I use Finish line Pro Road lube, no rust problems ever, Wuv is right enough, engine oil, 3 in 1 oil will do fine, grease is too thick lubricate the rollers in the chain...stick with an oil, make sure the chain is clean..when out in the winter wash the chain down with clean fresh water even on the drier days to get rid of traces of rock salt put on the road...it will eat chains!
