I agree. Wooden and maybe should stick to his own sport. Bring on Claire Balding, she knows everything about everything and gets wheeled out at every opportunity - a great commentator. NOT.

Re: Log your bike ride - here!

A funny shaped ride today, a bit like a jellyfish. It felt warm, but was actually 2 degrees which was OK out of the wind, but biting when facing the Easterly that was chuffing in. I found a few...

Re: Log your bike ride - here!

Had fully intended riding to Stone today, but aborted that once I discovered the back roads were sketchy, full of gravel and dangerously potholed. I needed a quick time to get there and back so I...

I think the clock on the forum is incorrect.

I've just posted this at 20:01
  12. Re: Should people over 80 still be able to hold a driving licence?

It's not aged related. Nutters at all ages I have found and I find the younger drivers the scarier ones as they intend to do you harm.

    Re: Cafe

Clear visibility of the bikes that are normally propped against the window.

Reasonably priced beans on toast, decent hot mugs of tea, flapjack, quick service and a smile.

That would be great. If anyone fancies meeting up for a blue ticket taster session I would be definitely up for that. Need a minimum of 4 willing riders.

  24. Re: Mark Cavendish's 2013 Specialized McLaren Venge - first look

Looks like it's had a front end shunt pushing the wheel back. I agree, the wheels look too heavy for the bike.

Re: Log your bike ride - here!

It was cold, but the roads were dry. My biggest fear was ice on the roads, but they were all dry and in pretty good condition considering the floods. Well, the field that we went across that was...
