It's been the year of the punctures for me, I've never, ever had so many. Get at least one every other trip - and that's on three different bikes, with three different types of tyre.
Grrrr.
I'm...
Just watched it - good effort. Patrick Kielty looked pretty handy, despite the Guinness swilling. Davina McCall also very determined.
They rode through some pretty awful conditions.
All this is making me feel inadequate. Didn't even make it out on the bike this weekend for a pootle.
10th cats sounds good to me. Would every 10th cat race feature a cafe stop on the second lap?
There's always Scouser :D
GiroJizz didn't exactly win any friends on here, so why he even bothered with his whingeing is a mystery.
What he said.
Wiggo is riding the Giro, and I think he's going to try and win it especially as it's not going to be a case of whoever has the best drugs this year. Maybe.
First British Grand Tour win, anyone? ...
But at the same time, you shouldn't fight it...
Damn you, you made me look up Kelly Le Brock in Google. Frightening.
Well done Lynxpaw, he knows it makes sense.
Have MTBed a fair bit in the New Forest over the years, always found the folk at Cyclexperience in Brockenhurst to be good. They have a large fleet of...

Livestock - of course. I know someone with some sheep.
hold on... what are you talking me into here?
Goes without saying that I'll manage to have a perfect, black imprint of a chainring on the white ceiling within a week or two.
Ha ha. I can feel that I'm spiralling into a mid-life crisis.
The only option is, really, to buy a more expensive bike.
The grim realisation has just hit me that, for the first time in my 40-year-plus life, my car is actually worth more than my bike.
Does this mean that I am no longer a proper cyclist?
Or does...
DickyB123, welcome to the forum and welcome to road cycling!
like a dog, dogg (as the kidz say)
Hi Bannman
I had six months off about 12 years ago due to an operation. It was hard getting back into it - what I used to consider as flat roads had turned into hills during that half-year's...
Oh, I dunno, I found GiroJezmo's post quite funny.
Until the sinister ending about being in pink lycra.
I love you too. I always have.
Have got some Vittoria Open Corsa EVO CX tyres on my faithful Spesh road bike and they are good too. Again, about £30 a tyre but well worth it.
The lounge seems to have turned into the online equivalent of the shrink's therapy session on the film 'As good as it gets'. Depressing. So...
I like cycling. It's great. It's gets me out into the...
I can't remember the last time I bought a Rolls Royce. I mean, they just haven't changed over the years - still the same number of wheels. And every model has seats and a radiator.
I'll think I'll...
