Re: Giro d'Italia chat (may containing spoilers)

I guess it just depend upon who is there. Sky sort of killed last years tour off with their US Postal act.
Last year's Vuelta was pretty good, I thought. The 2011 Tour was good too, if I recall.......

Re: Froome for Tour de France

Your'e probably right. Contador will take some beating, especially if he teams up with JRod and Valverde similar to last year's Vuelta..... Although Froome was probably a bit knackered after the tour...

Re: Giro d'Italia chat (may containing spoilers)

Pretty brutal stage, so well done Visconti. Nibali doesn't have to attack but Evans and Uran do. Didn't expect Evans to do much but thought Uran would have a go.

Re: Froome for Tour de France

Why?..... There are plenty of British teams in other sports that have mostly foreign talent... The press still consider the team to be British and they have a large following of British fans. Sky...

    Re: What I saw.

Saw one last year whilst on holiday in Norfolk... he looked pretty adept at it and managed a decent incline without stopping which would have most of us gasping if we tried the same

I think he is just as British as Wiggins..... both have one British born parent, both hold a British passport. What else does he need

Re: Froome for Tour de France

I think Brailsford is more concerned about the future success of the team than massaging egos. Wiggins is looking a bit ropey at the moment and may even end up supporting Uran at the Giro. At 33, he...

Re: Drops fitted on a TT Bike

If the position feels a bit low he could try using compact bars and maybe flipping the stem over to increase the height a tad.

I thought it was a joke... maybe Yates or Julich were giving the power meter a performance enhancing virus. Unbelievable that a pro athelete would be fooled by a dodgy power meter into thinking he is...

Interesting development. Wonder if Uran was authorised to make that attack. Certainly worked for him but I'll bet his team leader didn't enjoy being dropped.

Re: Froome for Tour de France

Can hardly put himself forward as team leader if he doesn't show good form in the Giro. Had some bad luck so far and lost his nerve on the slippery descents. I don't think the Giro is a good tour for...

    Re: 52/36 Chainsets

Chain length is based upon big ring to big sprocket no? Hence no need to change lenght. My old bike came with a 50 36 Truvativ Touro chainset. But you can buy loose rngs.
