Welcome to our world of dealing with in-house web developers. ;)
No, the banning was an unintentional error that occurred when the spam was removed, and for that I apologies on behalf of CW & IPC. But another viewpoint might be that had you not been present in...
Don't believe the hype, not all spam arrives via bots and some bots are superior to others (I take it you're familiar with the various application out there (XRumer, for instance) and their...
Point taken. ;)
Looks like you're right. All sorted now, although I'd take issue with the 'numpty' comment - perhaps if no-one responds to obvious spam, or actually helps by reporting it when they do see it...
Whilst the other two accounts had been inexplicably suspended, yours hasn't. Not sure what the issue there is.
I'd suggest starting by flushing your CW cookies.
Morning. Not sure what's occurred but your accounts have been reinstated.
There have been some issues with redirection on the forum since the clocks went forward.
Seems one (temporary?) solution is to change the DST settings in the User CP/General Settings panel -...
Alas this seems to be totally random; some user experience it, some don't, and those that do seem to get it intermittently (I know we are).
Bank Holiday weekend alas, so no short term hope of a...
Sufficiently suspect (denigration of one company in favour of another with the means to discover and purchase from the latter) for it to be removed.
Yet, we thought it more like stealth marketing of a given product. Ergo...
Can't offer anything more I'm afraid.
Not being able to recreate the issue in Chrome, we would suggest flushing all CW cookies, history, and cache.

Can you both let me know which browser/version you use (and any anti-virus app running in the...
Indeed. They should receive the praise as they shouldered the ire previously. ;)
There is a rumour abroad that this issue has now been resolved.
However, it may require users to flush/refresh/remove their CW cookies before it takes effect.
You might very well think that, I couldn't possibly comment...
But it's not a lack of interest, per se, the department responsible has a large workload and priority list.
Well, perhaps 'one of us' in that I have to login to the forum at almost every visit, which is an utter PITA, but certainly not 'one of them', who don't visit unless they're dragged screaming to...
You're preaching to the converted.
There'll no doubt look at it, as they did last week. Beyond that I wouldn't like to venture.
It's not down to CW, it's an IPC Digital issue (server-side) and only they can affect a fix (or fail to). And, it's now the weekend, so... :(
Don't believe everything you read... unless it's in the comic, naturally. ;)
No, it isn't Alan, and I'm too embarrassed to offer an explanation as to why because it's due to an edit being made to the system I'm yet to convince those who thought it valid otherwise.
Suffice...
Just a quick note to say we have made the bods that have sway in these matters aware of this issue, if we hear anything positive we'll let you know.
You're welcome. ;)
