Re: Drops fitted on a TT Bike

The height of the headtube is not going to be a factor, the actual headtube is no shorter than a road bike, it does all depend on what stack height is required and even then you can buy a headtube...

Re: Drops fitted on a TT Bike

As said above without seeing a real photo is tricky BUT...when fitting drops you ease the seat back to start with and try it. Before you venture into the cost of STI shifters , pop on some drop bars,...

    Re: Inner tube help please

The 32,48,60mm is the valve length...normally 48mm covers everything. You will be fine with 96 g tubes. Your tyres will be either 700cx23 or 700cx25 so tubes that cover that range are fine.

    Re: Lezyne pumps

Ahhh the hose you see is totally rigid, but 5" of rubber hose pulls out of that, I actually use the cheaper non gauge version and it is flexible enough to wrap round my finger. It isn't micro pump...

    Re: Lezyne pumps

Out of curiosity this post made me nip out to the shop and get a One23 mini pump off the shelf to try....It has the separate hose, T handle and a tiny flip out stand so you can use it as a mini track...

  14. Re: Fitting A Saddle With Carbon Rails? Which Type of Seat-Post?

Absolutely fine, just add a bit of gripper paste so you don't need to nip it as tight. Use torque wrench so you don't over cook it.

Re: New Chain Jumping on Triple

If the new chain is the same length as the old one it sounds like the chainring is also worn and needing replaced.

    Re: Wireless Computer

RSP is the Raleigh own brand kit and is pretty good stuff, I use RSP bars on my Principia, RSP pedals on a couple of bikes and have sold RSP computers in the past with no complaints or returns ever.
