you've the ITV 4 Producer and you've got barely an hour to cover the whole of a Tour stage so what do you do ?!

You spend 10 whole minutes talking to some old codger about curling ? and show some Irish soccer not forgetting another 10 minutes promoting Irish Tourism .......Jeez

Oh that was so annoying, thought Sean Kelly was looking fitter and meaner than he has for a while, still scary on the bike I bet!

Not produced by ITV - it's a buy in. Note the main sponsor of the Tour of Ireland. To be honest, I really don't care about or for the tourist ads and the interviews with dignitaries - the fact is it means there is pro cycling taking place in Ireland after 14 or 15 years of a break and it's on TV.

As I'm back for it, you should know that the highlights on Irish telly are exactly the same as the ITV 4 stuff: talk about selling sand to the arabs - arabs who saw nothing but rain all summer too.
