I suggest a syrah, Cotes du Rhone or something better if affordable, Cote Rotie, perhaps.
Possibly the finest non Bordeaux made

my dear wife suggests a wine which has few blends -a cabernet sav if possible -she is a hunter suppoter so a local chenin blanc is the one to go for

After much fishing around for a site showing final placements, twa has come to the rescue and pointed me in the right direction.
So scores for GC/Points and KOM are as follows
The Gerdemann group picks up points in all three cats.
Pondweed; Paulypaul; Fozziebear; Fizban; ACNBugno = GC 50pts, Points 15pts, KOM 12pts. Total 77pts
The Brajkovik group also picks up points in all three cats.
Twa = GC 40pts, Points 8pts, KOM 8pts. Total 56pts.
The Rujano Group scores in GC.
Wuverley 25pts
All other predictors didn't feature.
So when added to the stage scores the final standings for the Tour of Germany are:
