Robbie McEwen Filippo Pozzato Gert Steegmans Vladimir Karpets Alexandre Botcharov Stijn Vandenbergh
They've also listed a few other domestiques. Presumably they'll also subsume the likes of Ignatief, Petrov and Kiryirnka form Tinkoff too. Hopefully the Giro will see them, Astana and CSC all facing off!

this sounds like a strong team but you have to wonder if some of these riders are a bit off color at present...a change might be a good move for them...
steegmans will be the best signing...like his attitude

I think it's a good mix, it will be nice to see Steegmans against Boonan in the spring classics...what's good for the goose is good for the gander!!

According to l'Équipe he spoke to them but he's signing with Cervélo http://www.lequipe.fr/Cyclisme/20080903_190426_katusha-a-seduit-sastre_Dev.html

That explains the withdrawal of the CSC yellow jersey from sale then, although it does seem a little churlish - he won it when still riding for CSC.

Now cyclingnews.com says he denies signing to Katusha and has an 'oral agreement' with Cervelo www.cyclingnews.com/news.php?id=news/2008/sep08/sep04news
