Just completed the C2C yesterday (Sunday)
Saturday over Hartside was awesome! Wind rain, more wind more rain, people abandoning.
Anyway made it to the finish. I wonder what it's like when sunny with a slight breeze?

Didn't think we would make it over Hartside, not because of the incline, but the wind was wild. Several got knocked off by it.
Even so, I enjoyed day 2 over day 3 as the route from Consett to Sunderland is a cycling nightmare!
If i'd have known the route in advance i'd have stuck to the road.
