i wonder if the members of the forum are enjoying the tour of britain ?- i have to admit the closeness of the race and the standard of the breakaways are keeping me interested...
i saw the opening stage of the tour and the agrit lads were all cheerful in the team area while others where a bit subdued- a bit too serious maybe - i got some great photos - a small team with a good attitude -same as the tour in london last year...
some other great performances of note so far have to be cummings and an post..and LPR - very good racing

You know, I was saying exactly the same thing about the Agritubel boys to a mate yesterday - they are racing it and looking like it means something, rather than some end-of-season slog on narrow, slippery roads!
This photo of Lequatre says it all: http://www.cyclingweekly.co.uk/gallery/v/TourBritain08_st4/TOB+4+Lequatre+leader.jpg.html
Contrast that with Mr LPR, second from right in this one: http://www.cyclingweekly.co.uk/gallery/v/TourBritain08_st4/TOB+4+Jersey+podium.jpg.html
"Can we go home now?"
At this rate, I might have to start liking the French.
Have really enjoyed watching it on ITV4 this year, and the race has definitely benefitted from having eight stages.
Quality stuff.

Yes, they seem really committed to winning this race, rather than just using it as a training exercise...
I took a few pics on the Saddle of the Wrekin. Here are Agritubel working hard to bring back the break -
