I'm so lucky to live in such a beautiful area, last week I went south west toward the Manifold valley, today I'm going to have a ride up to Edale, my last friday off for a while (i'm self employed) so i'm going to make the best of it.
Must eat more food though, Bonked comming out of Alstonfield, I dont want to do that on Barber Booth!!

I prefer it the opposite direction, up Winnats to get the climb over with  then a good whizz from Mam Nick down into the valley. Refuel in Castleton before setting off!

Its a nice area to ride or walk.
Winnats Pass is ...steep.
