As I am anxious to book all my vacation time around following certain parts of Le Tour. I was wondering if anyone knows when th 2009 release date is? Is it around the end of October??
Thanks in advance.

Apparently "Very Important News" to be announced by Giro today too.

Nope, can't see any. Armstrong's riding, but what is this "very important" news they speak of?

Yeah, I feel rather cheated - I had hoped for something more than "We can confirm that one particular rider will be riding this huge and important race next year". It's the bloody Giro centenary - one old guy should not be "Very important news". I almost wish Armstrong gets sick the week before it starts and cannot line-up. It also puts Brunyeel in a position of having to pick him (though that was hardly in doubt).
Coming soon: Christian Preud'homme makes a "Staggeringly Significant Announcement" that the ban on French riders doing particularly well in the TDF is rescinded, and the Vuelta reveals exclusively to Hola magazine that Cadel Evans used a bicycle to come third. GRR!
