A bloke I know online from Rostock is going wild about Ullrich making a comeback. According to a German tabloid, Express, Ullrich is on his way back in this article.
The important bit is in bold, and does not appear to be substanciated by anything else in the article. It very roughly translates as: And here comes the hammer: Ulle is planning his comeback. no joke. His friend, Michael Stehle confided to Express: "He is playing with the idea, he is training well, and is in good fitness".

Well If Armstrong rides the TDF and wins in 2009 it wouldn't be complete without Yan on the podium alongside him. At this stage it dosen't really matter who comes back as the sports imgage is in tatters anyhow. It's downhil from here on in.

Why wouldn't he? Is there anyone that was involved in Puerto that isn't riding next year?

It looks to me that Pro cycling is going to become a cross between a joke and a circus next year.
All we need is Elvis and old blue eyes as DSs and the pantomime will be complete.

"Ja, for sure I will now return to cycling," explained the big German, through a face full of Black Forest gateau. "I'm now at my racing weight of 92 kilos and have been working hard on my brunch sprints. I want to race the Paris-Nice, because I like biscuits, and in Amstel Gold for the beers." And what of the Tour de France? "Of course, this is the biggest race. I have strategies to help me here. I cannot say to you too much, but my plan is to ride hard on the bike one day and then go by train the next. This is the only way to beat Armstrong, I think. And also there is a buffet on the train for if I get hungry. Do you want the rest of that sausage roll?" http://www.spiegel.de/fotostrecke/f...oArticle=581605

Ullrich has won a court case over payments from January to March 2003, when he claims he wasn't doping. He won the case to have his salary restored against former team owner Guenther, and denied all accusations of doping in court.
"Dahms is a cheat," Ullrich said.
Oh the irony.
