Whilst on my recent tour of the USA i stopped off in Austin (Texas ,for those that don't know ) and found Lances bike shop 'Mellow Johnnys'
Talking to one of the mechanics i was told that Lance is using SRAM on his bike this year.. now unless i've missed it (i don't buy the comic every week like i used to) i haven't seen any news of this anywhere... so either the mechanic was wrong,or this post is a world exclusive
..oh i was also amazed at how expensive bike bits are in the states..$199 for the cheapest bib shorts!

Astana have used it all season and will use it again next year. Old news but maybe will make the front page as a world exclusive.....

If I'm not mistaken Astana's Trek bikes are as American as is possible. The change from Dura Ace being the final conversion stage.

Thanks for that... i hadn't realised Armstrong had a stake in SRAM.. and just presumed Trek had stayed with Shimano,so it was news to me when i was told..
