I have slagged this off in the past but I seem to agree with everything Lionel says this week. Well said and well written!

Oh, apart from the Giro retro testing, but Mr Birnie has an obsession with drugs in the peleton, which I don't share.

Good stuff, the Home page content seems to improve all the time.

I'm glad to see that the Lionel has made an attempt to answer our whinings about Lance-a-lot as someone so cleverly put it.

And enjoyed the rest of it too, it must be said - glad to see that there is some concern raised about Ruthless Murdoch's inveigling himself into cycling.

Ruthless Murdock...yup...this man yields so much media power its said that no uk General Election can be won without him on side!. What a shocking state of affairs to which most people are iether oblivious or couldnt care less so long as they get there fix of tv trash. Micheal Shanti,s "Telivision, Death Of A Nation" maybe 25 years old but is more releveant than ever.
It`s for this reason I have never and will never subscribe to Sky.

Its hard to watch cycle racing without it.

I know there are lots of alternative ways of getting coverage, but Eurosport on Sky is the most straightforward way.

I have a minimal sky subscription for this purpose, and for the kids channels nowadays, but I don't read The Currant Bun or the Times, or watch Sky News or Sky One etc.

Telly is a good thing, but it rarely reflects my opinions or my interests, even the good ol BBC. However Radio 4 does, albeit its output is liberal rather than critical, and mostly for the older person.

I'm not scared of Murdoch, owning Premiership or Cricket rights seems to have made little difference to their popularity.

McCain, Palin, Obarma, Brown, Cameron are the people to worry about.

Hi wuv...if you want free access to cycling coverage you could install TVU Player..a quick google should find it.
This gives access to hundreds of tv channals streemed to your pc free.
There are other players available to and a little searching should find you the ideal one for your use.
Its not difficult to link the pc up to your tv if you prefer to view on a larger screen.
A footy mad friend of mine uses this every weekend and simultaneously has 4 premier league matches on the same screen..mad!
Anyway...bottom line is scumbag murdock recieves non of your hard earnt dosh.
