JohnO Groats - Lands End. route help required!
      #39049 - 07/11/2008 12:05

Hi All,

next year i am planning to do the JohnO groats - Lands End epic journey next may with four other riders.

we will all be members of Nottinghamshire Fire and Rescue and will be looking at raising as money as possible for the Firefighters charity.
i was after a bit of help form any body out there that has done the route before or has and info of the route.
we will be looking at doing the route over either 7 or 8 days. stopping in B&B along the way.

i am finding it very hard for some reason to find a route either 7 or 8 days longs (maybe i am not trying hard enough) but like i said, i would be very very gratefull for any help or pointers from you guys and girls.

thanks,

Best bet is the Cyclists' Touring Club - in fact there's a dedicated board for End to End rides on their forum.

Hi.
I live in Ashby de la Zouch and also want to ride E2E.
I have found this link which has a few good options.http://www.bikeadventures.co.uk:80/
What time of year were you looking at? If you are looking for company I may be able to tag along.
Best wishes whatever you decide.
