Armstrong isn't a doper, you're right, bigold. Germans eh? The wikipedia list someone put up the other week was also dodgy.

I thought the germans were meant to be an efficient group! Or maybe they are just continuing with a past trend of rewriting history to suit their means!

I was going to but I've tried too hard recently, my brain aches.
Although,(I cant stop myself) most germans under 40, in my experience are shocked at what their grandparents did in the war and before, and either don't want to talk about it, or never stop talking about it, especially when visiting Britain.
Just my experience, I had a beautiful german girlfriend once, who couldn't stop condemming her relatives and neighbours. I'm sure she was justified, but as a British person it was hard to know what to say.

Funny we do have one thing in common! I also have had a pretty young german girlfriend. (although to be totally fair there are very few country's you could have said that about and not got the same response)
Just teasing although i do view you as one of the forums 'diversity pioneers'. Just remember finding humour in something usually only means there has been a historic or current element of truth NOT that the subject matter is totally true. As a travelled man i am fully aware of the difference and freely chortle at the 'lounger' invading germans with their 20 caliber towells without issues. In exactly the same way i can giggle at my own heritage and the ongoing jokes about drunks, thriftiness, quarter pounders, fighters etc etc. I was merely poiting out that no-one is (here we go with another institutionally racist term some would argue) whiter than white. We all have our level of acceptable laughing at others expenses.
