Today, we've seen El Cid's winter bike, a fine titanium specimen, I've posted pictures of mine, Bfergie has, Bigold has, Sly has, and Colnagodream. (I may have missed some, no offence)
Obviously there is a bit of showing off and pride involved.
But, I was wondering, have you ever turned up to an event with your new pride and joy, only to see someone else with the same bike and all their mates looking admiringly at it?
Its happened to me. Is it confirmation of your own good taste, or just annoying?

Nope but I take it as a huge compliment...and a bit scary that Sly copied my bike idea and bought the same frame and chainset, same car, same guitar, listens to similar music but for a slalker he shows good taste!! I have been out on a cycle ride and the one and only time I met a cyclist she had the same Credit Agricole jersey on...looked better on her though!!

Not exactly, took my orbea that i got from 1 LBS. To another to get a garmin, whilst in there another customer was impressed with bike and said he was going to have a look at them. The Trek dealer was not amused.I tend to use the trek shop more than any others localy. saying that i got my new cube MTB in the summer from a 3rd. I like my bikes to be different.

Mine are one-off made to measure frames, the rest including the wheels I build myself, so there's no chance of a clash!
