I have just bought a second hand chain set. I have Shimano FC R600. Was shocked to see replacement cost of chain ring (£45). Does anyone know if any other chain rings will fit?

Have a look at TA. They make rings that are compatable with all or most makes.

Spa Cycles usually have rings to fit just about anything. If you know the bolt circle diameter or the bolt to bolt centre measurement they'll probably be able to sort you out.
