Great fun throughout, thanks to twa for all the effort put in, thanks to Chris who without we wouldn't have had the league in the first place, thanks to Nigel and the forum guys for giving us a place to run the league and for the support in posting out prizes and a very BIG thanks to all the people who have donated prizes to the league. As has been said by so many before, prizes aren't necessary as the fun in taking part is all that really matters, but it does add a the excitement nonetheless. And next year I WANT THE WOOLY HAT

Overtook Daveno7 and Slowhand at the very death for 11th, so I am very happy with the result. Congrats to the Podium party of El Cid, Fozzie and Paulypaul, and particular mention to the Queen of Points TWA.

Chapeau TWA gutted to finish outside top 20 - own fault for losing interest during Vuelta
PS Konsett Kidz will be back next July with a brand new squad - might give CW journalists a chance after their TDF embarassment this year

Spring training in Mexico excluded me before the Giro, but predicting is what kept me coming back to this forum, which I have come to enjoy (mostly).
Thanks for the work twa.

Today I have recieved my Olympic prizes. Many thanks to TWA and CW. 1 Sram key ring. very good. Hound likes to chew them. 2 LaPierre post riding/being interviewed baseball style cap. Child 3 daughter 2 has it, and it swamps here pretty little toothless face. Very good. 3 The wierdeast looking gloves ever seen! Specialized gimp gloves. Look odd feel odd. Will be ridden tomorrow in the Dales and will report on test, best take standard issue gloves incase of failure. http://www.specialized.com/bc/SBCEqProduct.jsp?spid=34680 Suspicions are that they will not breath one iota!
Going to El Cid Towers tonight with Wheeldale `souhern correspondant` Spectre. Will take them along for fun and games.

I too received the natty LaPierre cap type thing today. Wasn't sure when, if ever, I would find myself wearing something french upon my head .... but here I am, three quarters of a bottle of Merlot to the good, feet on pouffe, logs on fire and hat on head at a jaunty angle. Also received not one, but two SRAM key fobs to add to my one earlier in the year. So thats one for the house keys, one for shed keys and one for car keys ... Excellent. Also received a Scott multitool in its own little case ... So tomorrow it will be a clear out of the saddle bag. There will be a big void in there now. Unfortunately, owing to a minor op, not allowed to ride for another week. Stitches come out on Friday, so that means hail and thunder for Saturday then!
