sore hands

im having problems with my hands they are very painfull when im riding and even pins and needles sometimes in my little finger ..... any advise ????

I had the same problem after a few years off, it will get better and go away as you harden up a bit (not saying you are a softie of course!)

i used to ride about 2 years ago, but neva had so much pain in my hands,and started up again after christmas , i have gel gloves but still have pain ........ whats lardy ????

I don't know what's lardy, he means fat/overweight.

It could just be something that your body needs to get used to, I was amazed at how much my arms ached and my wrists hurt when I restarted this, properly, a year ago. I don't notice anything now.

Yeah I got really saw wrists....don't have a problem anymore

Yes i meant are you fat. I was and as the fat went the pain went. Bike set up has a huge ammount to do with wrist pain especially bar width and reach too.

I have the same problem, unless I wear gloves/mitts I can't stay on the bike for longer than a few minutes. Gloves help a lot, get some if you don't already.
