I do a good deed every month...pay my taxes which helps pay for lunch for all the homeless, indolent and work shy citizens scroungers that knock on the doors of the DSS.

Dole office or Government department responsible for doling out benefits..... Not sure what it's called these days but used to be DSS or DHSS.

The Wonderful "Work and Pensions" used to be "The Department of Health and Social Services" Let's hope this country never looses the interaction between those that have; and those that have a lot less! Robin Hood, started the trend; and long may it continue!

Hasn't the interaction gone already? They are giving the banks another £140 billion again today. Why don't they just give us back £3500 each? That would get the economy moving again.

We'd just waste it dang, buying stuff.

Give it to the people who run banks, they know what they're doing.

    Re: Cyclist good deed

So, from reading the comments of BeSpoke, I take it that he/she is right behind the government in declaring that being terminally ill is no excuse for not being out looking for work. There have been real cases of this - in one case, after being told that he was fit enough to work despite being terminally ill, the person involved died only 4 weeks after, and well before any appeal could be heard. If he/she is brave enough, can we have BeSpoke's comments please?

FYI BeSpoke is a He.... WRT my comments on a mis diagnosis of someone's health?... I don't see why this has anything to do with anything I have said. There are many people who are genuinely too ill to work. I don't have a problem with that. Just the layabouts who work out that they are better off on benefits and expect the rest of us to foot the bill.... Am I to take it that you are one of the former or one of the latter?
