    I usually take dried fruit like mango with me as well a drink, find them heaps easier to take while riding than bars

    I think they may be a waste of money now,I rode the London night rider last Saturday night(75 miles)not a big distance i know although we cycled 16 miles before we started and 12 miles back to euston from crystal palace,I had numerous bars with me but didn't eat one of them,we just had fig rolls,Jaffa cakes and small apple pies from the feeding stations,as long as you don't let yourself get hungry I don't think you really need them
