They seem to be available new from about £850 so second hand about £450-500
Must be mad not got enough money to be excentric, the older I get the better I was
Thanks Pragmatix for replying .
I bought it and paid £250.00.
Family member wanted a quick buck.
Bargain I think .
I hope you have enough space for all the wicker furniture...that was in the sale right?
Not my taste .
But I am happy with the Bike.
Going to LBS tomorrow.
Going to upgrade the Wheelset to Mavic Cosmic Elites and Bars, Pedals.
After the new MTB wheels I'm not allowed to google any other wheelsets for a while. Good idea to work in an upgrade though.
Cosmic Elites are a dam heavy wheel for the money...not a good choice. Even the Easton EA70 I got on the new Cyclo cross bike are 130g less, Novatecs are 400g less with same depth rim, sapim spokes and better hubs...Even Shimano Ultegra wheels are better deal.
Spoke with LBS about other brands of wheels i.e. Novatech .
They said some other brands they have had problems with and getting spares etc.
I have the Cosmic Elites on my Forme Bike and have been very pleased with the strength
and rolling feel of them.
Novatec spares are no bother at all, Sapim spokes and Novatec hubs and rims are easy to get. Mavic factory wheel parts...nightmare and whacking 400g off your rotational weight is massive!! 4za are now getting sold in the UK too now and they do a lovely wheel for similar money and 1600g
