Scottish..not 1st but just Scottish..It's a feeling as much as anything, cross the River Esk and it's not my land, socially and geographically it's very different, I have zero affiliation to it even if some parts are nice enough. It's not my home, the Lake District is closer to me than Skye or Torridon but they still feel like "home", I feel at home.
Place of birth isn't always that significant ... Wiggin's father was Australian and mother British... Born in Belgium but grew up in London. Although he identifies himself as British could probably have claim to both British and Australian nationality but probably wouldn't be permitted to hold a Belgian passport.
