    Stage 10. Mâcon – Bellegarde-su-Valserine. 194 km.

A journey to the foot of the Alps with a stage that contains 3 categorised climbs . For the first time the race crosses the HC Col du Grand Colombier said to be one of the hardest climbs in France. There is a descent from the 3rd cat Col de Richemond into the finish but the organisers have stuck a little hill in to fool everybody! Let’s hope that some of the riders who have lost time due to the crashes will go on the attack. (I inserted a picture of 'crossed fingers' here but it hasn't transferred!)

Two riders please by 11.00 am on Wednesday 11th.
