Santos Tour Down Under Line up

Does anyone think it odd that many of the teams are still yet to confirm their riders for the Australian Tour? It's set to happen in Adelaide end of January, yet only a few teams have announced their riders. Even our Orica Greenedge boys have not confirmed their lineup. Is this usual? I would have thought line ups would be announced months out from the big event.

Its possible no body wants to ride in it. I mean would you want to in 42+ degree celcius heat!? I know I wouldn't!

Still about 28 days away I thinks, had quick look and found about 6 teams already announced riders.
You got the Jayco Herald Sun Tour in just over a week, and Aus Nats soon I think. Probably teams will annonce early in the New Year.
Oh and Gerrans for the win..

Sure - expect conditions to impact the foreign riders, but our Aussie boys will thrive in these conditions. We breed them tough here!

Agreed. Simon Gerrans is odds on favourite. Great all rounder.
