2 man break:- Paolini and Vandenburgh. Thomas in chasing group. Chasers couldn't close the 30 odd second gap and seemed to give up 5km from the line....
Paolini takes it in from Vandenburgh the sprint.

4th? ?... Ok. Watched on Sportza.. picture was really fuzzy and commentary was in Dutch. Saw him coming and the commentator called his name, so just took it for granted that he got 3rd. Didn't wait for official confirmation. That's my excuse anyway.
Was really hoping that they could pull the breakaway back. About 10k to go it looked hopefull but with 5 to go it was clear that they were sitting up to concentrate on the sprint for 3rd
