Christmas is coming too fast, but how do those people do it who

I seem to see who are cycling in the middle of the day, as if there's no presents or food to buy, no houses to get ready, no decorations to put, no gifts to deliver.....etc.

I seem to find myself hurtling around, stuck in queues in supermarkets, traffic jams, time running away.

How do they do - those who look like there's nothing to do?? Perhaps they leave it all to someone else, perhaps they opt out altogether (unlikely), perhaps they are ultra organised (also unlikely I suspect, so perhaps its my first theory.

I do shift work which allows me to ride during the day.
I have to get up as early as 0300 to do it or start late afternoon
As for some of the others? unemployed? lazy? retired?

I started getting bits and pieces in October. I'm all sorted except for wrapping a few pressies... and waiting for one to arrive in the post
